Farhad Huseynov

Farhad Huseynov has extensive work experience in finance, accounting, and taxation. Farhad is currently the Chief of the Main Finance Department at the Ministry of Taxes in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Farhad served as the Deputy Chief of the Main Finance Department at the same ministry, and as the Deputy Head of the Declaration Department. Farhad has also worked as a Director at SolutiONs from December 2017 to October 2019, and as a Tax and Accounting Manager from January 2017 to December 2017. Farhad gained valuable experience at PwC Azerbaijan, where they served as a Senior Tax Consultant from October 2014 to January 2017, and as a Tax Consultant from December 2012 to October 2014. Farhad started their career at DAAX Investment and Management MCC as an Accountant from August 2011 to November 2012. Farhad also worked at Unibank as a Consumer Loans specialist of Retail Credit Department from November 2009 to March 2011. Farhad's early career includes roles at Azeronline and Azercell, where they worked as a Representer of Azeronline Support Group of Customer Care Department.

Farhad Huseynov has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Azerbaijan State Economic University. Farhad pursued this degree from 2002 to 2006. Later, they went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance from the same university's faculty of Finance and Credit. Farhad completed their M.B.A. from 2008 to 2010.
