Omar Al Abdul Salam, MBA, currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Organizations & International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in the Sultanate of Oman since August 2018. In addition to this role, Omar has been with the Ministry of Tourism since August 2011, holding various positions including Head of the International Cooperation Department and Administrative roles in the HR Department and as a Tourism Affairs Researcher. Prior to this, Omar gained experience as a General Accountant at Al Hosni Group from April 2010 to March 2011. Omar holds an MBA in IT from Coventry University, completed in 2016, and a Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management from the University of Staffordshire, obtained in 2009.
