Gary Chan

Gary Chan currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Supply Chain Resilience Division at the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Singapore, a position held since September 2011. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Director in the Community Relations & Engagement Division at the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports from November 2010 to September 2011, and serving as Senior Head for Venue Programming in the Culture and Education Programme during the Singapore Youth Olympics Games from March 2008 to October 2010. Gary Chan's career also encompasses military roles, including SAF liaison Officer to the United States Marine Corps and Commanding Officer of an Infantry Battalion in the Singapore Armed Forces. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Defence Technology from Cranfield University and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the National University of Singapore. Gary Chan is also a member of the City and Guild of London Institute.
