Efrat Altman

Efrat Altman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Efrat is currently working at MiNK Therapeutics, where they started as a Scientist in September 2018 and was promoted to Scientist II in July 2020. Efrat has now assumed the role of Senior Scientist at MiNK Therapeutics since March 2023.

Prior to their current position, Efrat worked as a Senior Scientist at Adicet Bio, Inc from January 2017 to February 2018. Before joining Adicet Bio, they held a postdoctoral fellowship at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from June 2014 to December 2016. During this time, they managed and planned independent research projects and collaborated with international laboratories. Efrat was also involved in writing grant applications.

Efrat's earlier experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2013, and at Tel Aviv University from 2002 to 2004.

Efrat Altman earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology, General from Tel Aviv University between 2002 and 2004. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Microbiology, General at Tel Aviv University from 2005 to 2007. Later, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, completing their studies from 2008 to 2013.
