Enrique Maldonado

Enrique Maldonado is a highly experienced professional in the aerospace engineering sector, currently serving as Co-Founder and COO at Minka since May 2021, while also holding the position of Co-Founder and Project Lead at Wooby since July 2019. Maldonado's previous roles include Senior eVTOL Flight Control Engineer at Lilium, where two comprehensive Flight Control Laws design release cycles were completed, and Autonomous Aircraft Lead Engineer & Product Owner at Airbus UpNext, leading a team to design innovative landing function architectures. Additionally, experience at Airbus as a Tech Referent and Flight Control Laws Specialist involved managing adaptive autopilot control laws and certifying A350 Flight Control increments. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Automation from ENSEEIHT and an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
