Jenna Pederson is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in developer advocacy, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. Currently serving as a Principal Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services since May 2020, Jenna previously held the role of Senior Developer Advocate. As Board Chair of minne✱ since January 2016, Jenna facilitates the growth of Minnesota's technology community through events and advocacy initiatives. Founding 612 Software Foundry, Jenna worked as a Principal Engineer and mentor, collaborating with startups and creating technical solutions using various programming frameworks. Jenna's contributions also include co-founding Minnesota's first all-women and non-binary hackathon through Hack the Gap, advising tech boot camps, and mentoring aspiring developers. Jenna holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
