Alison Bergblom Johnson

Teaching Artist at Minneapolis Institute of Art

Alison Bergblom Johnson is a multidisciplinary artist and educator with extensive experience in mentoring and facilitating workshops for diverse communities. Currently serving as an Artist Career Consultant at Springboard for the Arts and a Teaching Artist for both the Minneapolis Institute of Art and People Incorporated, Alison specializes in storytelling, public relations, and supporting artists with disabilities. As a performing artist and producer since 2008, Alison has produced work for notable venues and events including the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Additionally, past roles include Co-Editor and Literary Project Manager at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, where a successful anthology project garnered significant grant funding. With educational credentials in Literary Arts and Women's Studies, Alison is dedicated to empowering voices through creative writing and equitable access in the arts.
