Katie Luber's work experience includes serving as The Nivin and Duncan MacMillan President and Director at the Minneapolis Institute of Art since January 2020. Prior to that, they served as The Kelso Director at the San Antonio Museum of Art from July 2011 to November 2019. Katie also has experience as the Owner of The Seasoned Palate, Inc from September 2005 to November 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate Curator, European Paintings at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 1993 to 2002.
Katie Luber completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History of Art at Yale University from 1979 to 1983. Katie then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History of Art at The University of Texas at Austin between 1983 and 1985. Luber continued their education at Bryn Mawr College, where they obtained their PhD in History of Art from 1985 to 1992. Lastly, they attended The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from 2003 to 2006.
