Mai Y. is currently the Andrew W. Mellon Assistant Curator of Japanese and Korean Art at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Mai Y. has previous experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago, Curatorial Intern at the Art Institute of Chicago, and English Language Assistant at TAPIF, Lycée St Just. Mai Y. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Art and Archaeology from Princeton University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Art History and French from the University of Chicago. Mai Y. has also served as a Managing/Manuscript Editor at Montaigne Studies.
