Savannah Whisenhunt is an experienced professional in event management and the performing arts, currently serving as part of the Events Crew at the Minneapolis Institute of Art since June 2023. Savannah's diverse background includes roles as a Stagehand at American Horse Labor Company and Lead Usher at Guthrie Theater, along with extensive ushering and event assistance duties at Northrop, University of Minnesota. Additionally, Savannah temporarily managed the venue for the 43rd annual Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival and completed an internship with Twin Cities Film Fest in October 2023. Prior experience also includes event staff positions at First Avenue & the 7th St. Entry, event services for Minnesota Wild, and ushering for Minnesota Orchestra. Savannah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Studies in Cinema and Media Cultures from the University of Minnesota and participated in a study abroad program at DIS in Copenhagen.
