Michaela Minock Finnegan

Michaela Minock Finnegan is an experienced dance educator currently teaching at Hmong International Academy within Minneapolis Public Schools since November 2022. Prior roles include a dance educator at LOVEWORKS ACADEMY FOR VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS and a substitute teacher for EDUStaff, LLC, where lessons and student behavior were managed. Michaela has also provided engaging entertainment as a clown and character impersonator for Clowns.com Inc, while further developing teaching skills as a student teacher at Franklin Township Public Schools. With a background in food science and technology, Michaela held positions as a food technologist and associate food scientist. Education credentials include a Master of Education in Dance Education from Rutgers Graduate School of Education and a dual Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Food Science and Technology and Performing Arts: Dance from Iowa State University.
