Sophia Butler

Sophia Butler is an accomplished educator and music professional currently serving as an Orchestra Teacher for Minneapolis Public Schools since September 2018. In addition to this role, Sophia holds the position of Fulbright Scholar, teaching English and Music in Malaysia as part of the ETA program since October 2016. Sophia has also been a Violin/Viola Teacher for Juneau Alaska Music Matters since August 2015. Sophia's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Anthropology from St. Olaf College, where a GPA of 3.9 was achieved, and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Arts Innovation and Entrepreneurship from The Global Leaders Institute. Earlier experiences include leadership roles in youth programs and cultural interpretation, further enhancing Sophia's diverse skill set in education and music.
