Senior Epidemiologist - Emerging Infectious Disease Epidemiology And Response at Minnesota Department of Health

Hannah Friedlander is a seasoned Senior Epidemiologist at the Minnesota Department of Health, focusing on emerging infectious diseases since 2011. Currently, Hannah coordinates COVID-19 surveillance for PK-12 schools and childcares and has previously managed studies related to invasive GBS in neonates and severe acute respiratory illness. Hannah's expertise extends to database management, data analysis, and field project assistance, further enhanced by experience as a CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow. Academic foundations include a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology and Politics/International Relations from Scripps College. Additionally, Hannah has served as a Graduate Student Instructor, contributing to undergraduate education in women's health.
