Kaia J. Sveen

Kaia J. Sveen, MS, has extensive experience in public health communications and education. Since September 2015, Kaia has served as a Communications Planner, Social Media Manager, and Videographer at the Minnesota Department of Health's Communications Office. Prior to this role, Kaia worked as a Health Educator in the Environmental Health Division at Ramsey County from May 2007 to September 2015 and as an Environmental Specialist at Washington County Minnesota HR from June 2005 to May 2007. Earlier career roles include Graduate Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Research Analyst at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Kaia holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Public Health from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Spanish from St. Olaf College.
