Melissa Marsh

Melissa Marsh is an experienced professional in public health and data management. Currently serving as the HIV Surveillance Data Manager at the Minnesota Department of Health since January 2021, Melissa previously held roles including Health Program Representative for the Newborn Screening Program. Prior experience includes working as a Sales Support Coordinator at Tactile Medical and a Patient Access Specialist at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, where responsibilities included patient appointment coordination and insurance verification. Melissa's foundational research experience includes roles as a Biology and Chemistry Research Assistant at the University of St. Thomas, focused on genetic variability in invasive species and bacterial propagation studies. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology of Global Health from the University of St. Thomas, where involvement included serving as Vice President of the Public Health Club and working closely with the Disability Resource Center.
