Brian Tang, PE, currently serves as the Assistant State Design Standards Engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation since May 2022. Previously, Brian held various engineering positions at Toole Design Group from June 2016 to November 2021, including Project Engineer, Engineer III, Engineer II, and Engineer, managing projects of varying complexities and mentoring new staff. Prior experience also includes a role as an Engineering Co-op/Analyst at CDM Smith, a landscaper at Alfresco Landscape & Design LLC, and involvement in community-focused initiatives such as an Academic Coach for Leadership, Education and Athletics in Partnership and a Community Greenspace Intern with Urban Resources Initiative. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Yale University and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Connecticut, complemented by a solid foundation in environmental project work developed through various internships and positions.
