Chad Hermes

Chad Hermes is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at the Minnesota Department of Transportation since February 2023. Previously, Chad held the position of Judicial Law Clerk at the Minnesota Judicial Branch, where responsibilities included conducting legal research and preparing background information for a district judge. Prior to that, Chad was involved in various roles at the University of Minnesota Law School, including Student Director at the Consumer Protection Clinic, managing multiple cases and advising clients on consumer rights. Additional experience includes working as a Summer Associate at Pemberton Law Firm, drafting legal documents as a Paralegal Intern, and managing a campaign for AK Hassan for Minneapolis Parks. Chad holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Legal Studies from Hamline University.
