LeAnn G. has over 15 years of experience in communications and public affairs, currently serving as the Communications/Public Affairs professional for the Minnesota Department of Transportation since June 2021. In this role, LeAnn plans and manages District 3's communications activities and acts as the principal contact for media inquiries. Previously, LeAnn held the position of Executive Assistant at Brainerd HRA from January 2015 to June 2021, where responsibilities included supporting the executive director and managing public relations efforts. Earlier experience includes roles as a Marketing Communication Specialist at Nor-Son and a Marketing Coordinator at Widseth Smith Nolting, focusing on various aspects of marketing and communications in the architecture and construction sectors. LeAnn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and has completed coursework at Tidewater Community College.
