Nydia Gutierrez

Nydia Gutierrez is a seasoned public affairs and communications strategist with extensive experience in both nonprofit and startup environments. Currently serving at Earthjustice since June 2019, Nydia has also worked as a marketing consultant and content creator for startups and independent publications since January 2015. Previous roles include public affairs associate at Dewey Square Group and communications manager at Mobile Future. Nydia has contributed to fundraising efforts for the Presidential Inaugural Committee and Obama for America in 2012. Beginning a career in journalism, Nydia reported for The Collegian, the weekly newspaper at the University of Texas at Brownsville, where Nydia earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science.
