Miki Tufto

Miki Tufto is an experienced professional in communications and management, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association since February 2014, with previous roles including Interim Executive Director and Communications and Meetings Director. Additional experience includes a position as Communications and Meetings Director at The Sapphyre Group, LLC from January 2016 to December 2024, and ownership of Sympathy Florists from October 2006 to February 2020. Miki Tufto previously directed communications and meetings at the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association from May 2002 to September 2007 and served as an Information Specialist at the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce from April 2000 to April 2002. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication and Political Science from St. Cloud State University, an Associate of Arts in Mass Communications from Ridgewater College, and earlier studies at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and St. Cloud State University. Miki Tufto graduated from Elk River Senior High School in 1991.
