Annie Tietema

Annie Tietema is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT management and program administration within the State of Minnesota. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Planning and Product Owner, Annie coordinates significant IT investments and spearheads data security and governance initiatives. Previous roles include Director of Special Projects, where Annie managed a $60 million job seeker program, overseeing grant issuance and compliance, and Principal Planner, where Annie acted as the chief data analyst, driving a Lean management effort that yielded significant returns on investment. Early in the career, Annie served as a Labor Market Analyst, conducting essential labor market research. Annie also founded and led SpeedStreet, a non-profit organization focused on youth road safety education. Annie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Spanish, and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
