Laurena Lecompte

Laurena LeCompte is an experienced professional in budget policy and analysis, currently serving as the Director of Budget Policy and Analysis for the State of Minnesota since May 2016, with prior roles including Senior Executive Budget Officer and Executive Budget Officer. Before her tenure at the State of Minnesota, Laurena LeCompte completed a Budget and Innovation Graduate Internship with the City of Saint Paul and worked as a Government Affairs Student Contractor for Target Corporation through DAHL Consulting. Laurena's career began with a position as a Budget Analyst for the Hawai'i State Senate's Ways and Means Committee. Education includes a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Hawaii Pacific University.
