Michael Kowski has extensive experience in civil engineering and public service, beginning with a role as Assistant Metro State Aid Engineer at MnDOT from January 2000 to November 2012, where responsibilities included overseeing State Aid funds for metro cities and counties, reviewing project plans, and approving system changes. Since November 2012, Michael has served as the Metro Maintenance Engineering Services Resource Engineer with the State of Minnesota, managing the Engineering Services Unit and overseeing various projects, including plan reviews and preventative maintenance efforts. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and an Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
