David Briese

Site Manager at Minnesota Historical Society

David Briese has a diverse work experience. David started in 2007 as a Program Manager at Haugbeck Support Services, where they worked until 2009. From 2013, they participated in the American Indian Museum Fellow program at the Minnesota Historical Society for a three-week residential experience focused on learning about the museum field and cultural preservation organizations. In 2014, they interned at the Minnesota Historical Society in various roles, including Program Intern, Museum Fellow, Project Management Intern, and Collections Intern. David then worked at The Cheese & Pie Mongers from 2014 to 2016, fulfilling the roles of Manager, Cheese Monger, and Pie Specialist. In 2015, they joined Minnesota State University, Mankato as a Research Assistant. Currently, since January 2019, they hold the position of Site Manager at the Minnesota Historical Society.

David Briese completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Anthropology, American Indian Studies, and Ethnic Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2014. David later pursued a Master's degree and a Certificate in Anthropology and Nonprofit Leadership from the same institution, completing their studies in 2016.
