Jamie Kherbaoui, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to the present. Jamie began their career as a Youth Development Intern at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. They then served as a Des Moines Public Schools Americorps Service Member with AmeriCorps. Jamie continued to work with youth at the Boys and Girls Club of Central Iowa as a Youth Development Professional. At Drake University, they took on roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and a Drake Community Action Board Service-Learning Ambassador. They also interned as a SUCCESS Case Management Intern at Des Moines Public Schools. Jamie then became a Statewide Volunteer Coordinator at Lutheran Services in Iowa. They continued their passion for community engagement at Merrimack College as an Institutional Civic and Community Engagement Fellow. At Lesley University, Jamie worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member and later became the Coordinator of Community Service, where they developed and facilitated critical community engagement programming. Currently, Jamie is the Community Engagement Manager at the Minnesota Historical Society.

Jamie Kherbaoui, M.Ed., completed their Bachelor's Degree in Sociology & Social Justice in Urban Education at Drake University from 2013 to 2017, graduating Summa Cum Laude. They then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) at Merrimack College from 2018 to 2019, with a concentration in Community Engagement and a focus on Higher Education.
