Nancy Hoffman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the museum and historical society sector. Currently serving as a Project Assistant at the Minnesota Historical Society since September 2011, Nancy contributes to an Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund project focused on enhancing the management of University of Minnesota archaeology collections. Prior to this role, from September 2002 to June 2011, Nancy held several positions at the Minnesota Historical Society, including Program Assistant for the Great Rivers Network, where efforts were made to broaden access to digital content across various jurisdictions, and Project Analyst for the National Digital Information Infrastructure Preservation Program, concentrating on the preservation of state legislative records. In addition, Nancy managed data quality initiatives as a Data Quality Project Coordinator. Earlier in the career, Nancy served as the Archaeology Lab Curator at the Wisconsin Historical Society from May 1993 to September 2002, further solidifying expertise in archaeological collections and curation.
