Brad O'Neil

Brad O'Neil serves as a District Court Law Clerk to Referee Franklin Reed at the Minnesota Judicial Branch since August 2023. Previously, Brad held positions as a Law Clerk at Barna, Guzy & Steffen, Ltd., and Milavetz, Gallop & Milavetz, P.A., where responsibilities included legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, and assisting in major arbitration hearings. Experience as a Summer Associate at Gislason & Hunter LLP involved researching case law and drafting various legal documents. A Judicial Extern for the Minnesota Court of Appeals contributed to bench memos and final opinions. Prior to a legal career, Brad was a Community Editor and Sports Editor at Adams Publishing Group LLC, with a background in journalism covering local sports and news. Brad holds a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, a Professional Certificate in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from George Mason University, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Coe College.
