Justin Terrell serves as the Executive Director of the Minnesota Justice Research Center since September 2020. Prior to this role, Justin held the position of Executive Director at the Council for Minnesotans of African Heritage, where responsibilities included advising the Governor and Legislature on issues affecting people of African heritage in Minnesota. Justin's experience spans various organizations, including positions as Program Manager for TakeAction Minnesota and Placement Specialist for Project for Pride in Living. Justin has a strong background in community development and advocacy, supported by a Master's degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership from Metro State University and the University of Minnesota Duluth, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Bethel University.
