Emily Carlson

Emily Carlson has extensive work experience in the financial and actuarial fields. Emily started their career at Mercer in 2006 as an Actuarial Associate, where they worked until 2011. In 2011, they joined Securian Financial as an Associate Actuary, and over the years, they progressed to the role of Director & Actuary - ERM, Senior Director - Financial Planning & Analysis, and most recently, Second Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis. Emily's expertise in financial planning and analysis, as well as their actuarial background, make their a valuable asset in these roles.

Emily Carlson attended A4S Academy from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they studied Actuarial Science and Mathematics at the University of Iowa from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
