Tony Abbott

Tony Abbott has extensive work experience in the field of safety and compliance. Tony currently holds the position of Director of Safety at Otis Minnesota Services since October 2022. Prior to that, Tony served as the Director of Safety and Compliance at Minnesota Limited, LLC from December 2003 onwards. Tony also held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at the same company from July 2012 to July 2013. Tony's earlier role was as a Territory Manager at Black and Decker DeWalt from July 2002 to December 2003.

Tony Abbott attended St. Thomas Academy from 1993 to 1998, where they studied Communication, General. Tony then went on to Augsburg University from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications.

In addition to their formal education, Tony Abbott has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they became an Associate Safety Professional (ASP) and a Certified Safety Professional through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. In the same year, they also obtained the API-1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector certification from the API Individual Certification Programs. Prior to that, in 2015, they became a Certified Welding Inspector through the American Welding Society. Tony Abbott also holds the OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer (OSHA 500) certification, which they obtained in 2010 from Construction Safety & Health OSHA.
