Laura Katherine Jayroe, M.Ed., NCC, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a Program Therapist and Outpatient Therapist at Minnesota Mental Health Clinics since October 2020, where therapy is provided in an intensive outpatient setting with a focus on DBT principles. Previous experience includes a Graduate Student Internship at Family Guidance Center of Alabama, where individual, family, and couples counseling was offered, and case notes and treatment plans were developed. Additionally, Laura served as a Graduate Assistant at Auburn University at Montgomery, conducting research on Alternative Master's Programs and co-presenting at a regional conference. Earlier experience includes a role as a Call Specialist at Brentwood Behavioral Hospital, managing crisis calls and coordinating patient placements. Laura holds a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from LSU Shreveport.
