Labor Relations Specialist at Minnesota Nurses Association

Nicholas Rea is an experienced labor relations professional with a background in union representation and advocacy. Currently serving as a Labor Relations Specialist at the Minnesota Nurses Association since October 2021, Nicholas has successfully represented registered nurses in complex contract negotiations and conducted internal organizing campaigns. Prior experience includes serving as a Field Representative for AFSCME MN Council 5, where leadership development and grievance processing were key responsibilities. Nicholas also held the role of Administrative and Outreach Coordinator for Physicians for a National Health Program, focusing on organizing and social media. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Macalester College.
