Karen Quisenberry

Karen Quisenberry has extensive experience in the performing arts, particularly in production management and stagecraft. Currently serving as Vice President of Production at Minnesota Opera since August 2013, Quisenberry leads all production departments to realize both new and traditional operas, collaborating with world-class conductors and designers. Prior roles include Chief Production Officer and Director at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Quisenberry managed BFA and MFA programs and oversaw the stage management curriculum. Additional experience encompasses key production roles at reputable institutions such as Yale University, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Quisenberry holds an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an MFA from UC Irvine, a BS from Southern Utah University, and an AS from Amarillo College.
