Jason Christoff is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Minnesota Power since July 2010, focusing on various Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects, providing project management and engineering support for metering in distribution, transmission, and generation. Prior experience includes working as a Power System Engineer at Rockwell Automation from January 2009 to July 2010, where Jason conducted arc flash studies across various customer settings. Additionally, Jason served as an Engineer Intern, assisting with data collection and design work on a mobile substation. Earlier in their career, Jason was a tow boat driver for Anderson Canoe Outfitters from 2003 to 2010, transporting people and equipment in the BWCA and Quetico Park areas. Jason holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from Michigan Technological University, which was completed in 2009, and graduated from Hibbing High School in 2003.
