Michael Flatley

Michael Flatley possesses a diverse background with extensive experience in both public safety and media. Serving as a Defensive Driving Instructor at the Minnesota Safety Council since October 1998, Flatley also holds a position in security with Centerra Group, AKAL, and DECO since June 2010. Previously, from November 2013 to March 2022, Flatley was a Pilot Escort Driver Instructor with Advanced Minnesota. A retired Minnesota State Trooper, Flatley served with the Minnesota State Patrol from June 1988 to September 2009. Additionally, Flatley worked as a Radio Personality and Reporter for KOZY/KNNS/WEBC/B105 from June 1975 to June 1988. Flatley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Bemidji State University, after graduating from Greenway High School.
