Elizabeth Ekstrand

Elizabeth Ekstrand is a political science student at Macalester College, currently serving as a Legislative Intern for Sen. Nicole Mitchell at the Minnesota Senate since January 2023. With experience in administrative roles at Macalester College's Registrar's Office, Elizabeth is skilled in processing official documents and managing data. Previous positions include tutoring high school students in AP World History and assisting in various capacities at The ArtsCenter, where responsibilities ranged from event management to conflict resolution. Elizabeth has also contributed to youth initiatives in Durham, including policy clarification for marginalized students and engaging in community organizing to promote voter registration and environmental sustainability.
