Larissa Fisher

LaRissa Fisher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in legislative and health services roles. Currently serving as a Health and Human Service Research specialist for the Minnesota Senate since February 2020, LaRissa previously held positions as a Legislative Ombudsman Specialist at the Minnesota Ombudsman for Long-Term Care and Committee Administrator for the Human Services Reform Policy and Finance Committee at the Minnesota Senate. LaRissa's experience also includes roles at the Minnesota Department of Revenue as both a Revenue Collections Officer and Revenue Examiner, as well as positions at MNsure and the Minnesota House of Representatives, where responsibilities ranged from Constituent Services Supervisor to Research Consultant. LaRissa's career began in claims evaluation at Prudential Insurance. LaRissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
