David Hamlow is an experienced artist and educator with a rich background in art instruction and practice. Currently serving as an adjunct faculty member at Minnesota State University since August 2005, David teaches various courses including Elements and Principles of Art, Drawing Foundations, and Mixed Media at multiple levels. David has also held adjunct faculty positions at Bethany Lutheran College from August 2008 to December 2014 and has a history as a graduate instructor at the University of Minnesota from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, David is a self-employed artist since 1966 and was an exhibiting artist at the Minnesota Museum of American Art from 2005 to 2008. David holds an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Minnesota and a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College.
