Elizabeth Sandell

Faculty, Elementary & Literacy Education at Minnesota State University-Mankato

Elizabeth Sandell currently serves as a Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, since 2005, focusing on teaching Human Relations in a Multicultural Society, advising undergraduate students, and researching intercultural competency. Previously, Elizabeth Sandell held positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, teaching early childhood education and emphasizing international partnerships for pre-service teachers. Additionally, Elizabeth Sandell was the Title III Project Director at Alaska Christian College from 2013 to April 2014, where management of a federal grant enhanced the college's capacity to offer Associate in Arts degrees. Elizabeth Sandell also directed a $12 million nutrition education program for low-income individuals while at Families That Work at the University of Minnesota from 1997 to 2005. Elizabeth Sandell earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Minnesota between 1971 and 1991.
