Jonathan Hardwick

Jonathan Hardwick is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in computer science and software engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Computer Information Science Department at Minnesota State University, Mankato since August 2014, Jonathan has contributed significantly to academia. Prior to this role, Jonathan spent 17 years at Microsoft, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior Software Development Engineer in the Performance Engineering team for Visual Studio and as a chief application modeler and software architect for System Center Capacity Planner. Jonathan's early career included research at the University of Cambridge as a Research Assistant, focusing on VLSI chip layout. Jonathan holds a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
