Karey Kalakian

Karey Kalakian has an extensive background in academic and student development within the realm of intercollegiate athletics at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where responsibilities include planning and implementing programs for student-athletes since 2005. In addition to serving as the Assistant Athletic Director for Academics and Student Development, Karey holds multiple adjunct faculty positions teaching various courses, including Drug Education and Alcohol and Drug Education Workshops. Previous experience includes roles in chemical health counseling, wellness coordination, and outpatient counseling, alongside a strong academic foundation with both a Master's Degree in Community Health/Alcohol and Drug Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Corrections with a Psychology minor, both from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
