Kathryn Clay

Kathryn Clay is a seasoned educator and author with extensive experience in higher education and children's literature. Currently serving as a Maverick Success Program Advisor at Minnesota State University, Mankato since September 2020, Kathryn has also held roles such as Accessibility Resources Coordinator and Academic Advisor at the same institution. As a freelance author and editor since 2010, Kathryn has authored over 80 nonfiction children's books covering a range of topics, including drawing and dinosaurs, and is currently focused on creating low-level nonfiction and online database entries. With a solid educational background, including a Master of Science in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services and multiple degrees in English and Creative Writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Kathryn combines strong academic credentials with a commitment to student success and literacy.
