Matthew Loeslie

Matthew Loeslie is a Criminal Justice Assistant Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, since August 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew served as the Founding Dean of the School of Applied Technology at Minnesota State Community and Technical College from June 2021 to August 2022. Matthew's experience includes roles as a Criminal Justice Lecturer and Program Director at the University of Minnesota from 2016 to July 2021, Public Safety Training Manager at the Minnesota Emergency Response and Industrial Training Center from 2015 to 2016, and Law Enforcement Training Director and Adjunct Faculty at Minnesota West Community and Technical College from 2010 to December 2014. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Police Officer for the City of Marshall, MN, between 2006 and 2011. Academically, Matthew holds a Doctor of Criminal Justice from PennWest California (2019-2021), a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Leadership from Concordia University-St. Paul (2009-2011), and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology/Criminal Justice from South Dakota State University (2002-2006).
