Rachael Hanel

Rachael Hanel is an experienced academic and author, currently serving as an associate professor of creative writing at Minnesota State University, Mankato since August 2002, specializing in creative nonfiction. Rachael Hanel has also taught various courses in the Mass Media program and developed online curriculums, contributing to both face-to-face and online education. As a freelance writer, Rachael Hanel has written for multiple publications and is the author of the book "WE'LL BE THE LAST ONES TO LET YOU DOWN," published in 2013. Rachael Hanel has also held curriculum management roles at Kaplan University and served as a course designer at the Loft Literary Center. Rachael Hanel earned a PhD in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University and holds a graduate certificate in instructional design as well as degrees in Mass Communications and History from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
