Shaheen Ahmed

Shaheen Ahmed is a Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a rich academic background and experience in various educational roles, including Associate Professor and University Assessment Coordinator. Since August 2015, Shaheen has contributed to the assessment of student learning and trained teams in assessment practices. Additionally, Shaheen serves as Treasurer for both the Inter Faculty Organization and The Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics, overseeing financial operations. Education includes a PhD in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Human Factors and Ergonomics from Mississippi State University, complemented by a master's degree in Industrial Systems and a master's degree in Automotive Industrial Design Engineering. Prior teaching positions include Assistant Professor at the University of West Alabama and Teaching Assistant at Mississippi State University, along with consultancy work at Condux International. Research interests span human factors, ergonomics, and advanced statistical analysis.
