Bailey Alto is the Senior Manager of Audience and Media Marketing at the Minnesota Timberwolves. Alto has over six years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on paid media, public relations, experiential marketing, creative development, content strategy, social media, e-commerce, and partnerships.
Alto began their career as a Marketing Analytics Intern at Carmichael Lynch in May 2014. There, they worked with the agency's clients to develop and execute campaigns that drove awareness, engagement, and sales. In November 2015, Alto was promoted to Senior Engagement Planner, where they led a team of planners in developing and executing integrated marketing communications plans.
In December 2017, Alto left Carmichael Lynch to join General Mills as a Senior Brand Experience Planner. In this role, Alto oversaw holistic marketing communications strategy and execution for the Old El Paso brand. Alto collaborated with internal teams and external agency partners to develop and execute campaigns across paid media, public relations, experiential marketing, creative development, content strategy, social media, e-commerce, and partnerships.
In December 2020, Alto left General Mills to join the Minnesota Timberwolves as the Senior Manager of Audience and Media Marketing. In this role, Alto is responsible for leading the team in developing and executing integrated marketing communications plans across all channels.
Bailey Alto attended the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Bachelor of the Arts in Professional Strategic Communications, Spanish, and Sport Management. They then attended Australian Catholic University. Finally, they completed their High School Diploma at Spring Lake Park High School.
Bailey Alto reports to Marissa Blomstrom, VP Marketing. They work with Courtney Brown - Creative Projects Manager, Jen Zanatta - Executive Creative Director, and Bri Lemaster - Marketing Coordinator.
