Software Engineer - Analytics at Minnetronix

Michael Giordano has a total of two work experiences.

From May 2020 to August 2021, they worked at Minnetronix, Inc. as an Associate Research Data Scientist. In this role, they built machine learning models and pipelines to predict patient status, processed and stored large amounts of clinical data, and led statistical analysis work.

From May 2018 to May 2020, they worked at UW-Madison Computer Aided Engineering as a Unix Student Staff. In this role, they managed the collection, monitoring, and display of statistics for over 100 servers, upgraded service monitoring and stat collection systems, and resolved development issues on server-monitoring tools and Apache webservers.

Michael Giordano completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 2016 to 2020, they pursued a dual degree in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering. Their field of study during this time was focused on Bioinstrumentation. Following this, from 2020 to 2021, they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning and Signal Processing. In addition to their formal education, Michael has pursued additional certifications in the field of deep learning, including a Convolutional Neural Network Specialization and a Sequence Model Specialization from DeepLearning.AI.
