Process Development Engineer I at Minnetronix

Nathan Van Kampen, EIT has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nathan started their career at Bachman's Inc. in 2002 as a Lead Stock, where they were responsible for unloading and sorting products, ordering supplies, and providing customer assistance. Nathan held this position until April 2013.

In 2011, Nathan founded NVK Enterprises, where they served as the Designer and Owner until September 2014.

Nathan then joined Beckman Coulter in April 2014 as an Advanced Manufacturing Associate, where they worked until October 2014.

Nathan's next role was at Minnetronix, Inc. in September 2015 as a Contract Electronics Assembler. Later, they were promoted to Principle Assembler in June 2016 and played a crucial part in finding and solving product problems before full production. Nathan was subsequently promoted to Process Development Engineer I in March 2022. Nathan was a pivotal member of the team responsible for the successful transfer of NPI devices to full manufacturing.

Through these experiences, Nathan has gained valuable skills in process development, manufacturing, and project management.

Nathan Van Kampen, EIT has a strong educational background in engineering. Nathan began their education at Century College from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Nathan then furthered their studies at Minnesota State University from 2007 to 2010 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In their pursuit of continued professional development, Nathan obtained additional certifications in 2018. Nathan completed 24 Hours of Basic Hand Soldering Training based on IPC Specifications and also acquired the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements & Acceptance for Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies certification, both from Industrial Insite.

Currently, Nathan is enrolled at Colorado State University where they are expected to graduate in 2025 with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Materials Science.
