Mary Tesfay

Mary Tesfay has extensive experience in project leadership and board membership across various organizations, including C:NTACT, HAUT, DramatikkensHus, Mino Danmark, and BLACK TO NORMAL. Holding roles such as Projektleder and Bestyrelsesmedlem, Mary is deeply engaged in initiatives that explore identity and belonging from a minority ethnic perspective. Concurrently, Mary manages a blog focused on the experiences of ethnic minorities in Denmark, addressing the challenges of parenting in this context. Additionally, Mary has a background in family counseling and event organization, notably contributing to the founding of PigeLiv Kbh and the Pigefestival 2015. Educationally, Mary is pursuing a Master's degree in pedagogical anthropology from DPU and holds a professional bachelor's degree in pedagogy from Københavns socialpædagogiske seminarium.
