Hayden Mack

Hayden Mack has extensive work experience in the engineering and technology industry. Hayden is currently serving as an Engineering Manager (New Builds) at Mint Innovation since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Avertana Ltd as a Demonstration Plant Manager from May 2020 to January 2023, where they oversaw the scale-up and management of a demonstration plant. Hayden also held the role of Senior Process Engineer at Avertana Ltd from January 2016 to May 2020, where they played a key role in developing the company's proprietary mineral extraction technology.

Before joining Avertana Ltd, Hayden worked at Rheem NZ Ltd as a Senior Research and Development Engineer from January 2012 to December 2015. Their responsibilities included project management, prototype design, certification, performance validation, and durability testing for new products in the water heating/water chilling industry. Hayden also designed and commissioned manufacturing test equipment and provided technical documentation and service support.

Hayden Mack's earlier experiences include working at Greenlane Biogas Ltd as an R&D Program Manager from January 2011 to January 2012, and as a Product Development Manager from January 2009 to August 2010. Hayden Mack has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland, which they earned from 2003 to 2006. In 2002, they briefly attended The University of Auckland again, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Science. Later, from 2010 to 2015, they studied at Massey University and obtained a Post-graduate Certificate in Science and Technology with a specialization in Energy Management.
